Michael Jeffery is an Australian contemporary artist known for his abstract landscapes. His work is
constructed as a collage of dried acrylic paint skins, later overlaid with signage, brushstrokes and
stencilling.
Jeffery completed a Degree in Visual Arts (Honours) at the University of South Australia in 2005 after
majoring in painting and drawing.
In 2006, he was selected as a finalist in the Wynn Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW and has continued to
show in many solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia.
